Dr. George is a TRIPLE Board Certified Physician. Dr. George completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto with a dual major in Neuroscience and Psychology. She went on to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a physician at Windsor University School of Medicine. She subsequently completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and continued her training in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at Creighton University School of Medicine. During her fellowship, she was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor society. She has a special interest in obesity medicine, thyroid, and osteoporosis. During her time as an Assistant Professor at Creighton University, she was involved with research at the local osteoporosis research center, where she was involved with multiple industries and NIH studies. She initiated a fracture liaison pilot quality improvement study at the local VA hospital and was awarded multiple research awards for this initiative. Her passion is to provide evidence-based medicine and patient education and ensure everyone gets equal quality healthcare. Dr. George is married and has two children. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family.
