The Dubai Metro Online is a significant infrastructure development extending the existing Metro Red Line. Commissioned by Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), it will add approximately 15 kilometers of elevated track and seven new stations: starting near the existing Centrepoint station (Al Rashidiya) and connecting key growth areas including Meydan Harbour, Dubai Hills, Al Thanyah, and Expo Golf Village. This vital project aims to dramatically improve public transport accessibility, reduce traffic congestion, and support the sustainable urban development of these rapidly expanding communities by integrating them seamlessly into Dubai’s wider metro network.
